SULDOURO

The waste treatment plant at SULDOURO (CVO), geograficaly integrated with the Sermonde Sanitary Landfill, Vila Nova de Gaia, integrates the Mechanical Treatment and the Organic Digestion of Municipal Solid Waste of the Sistema Multimunicipal do Sul do Douro - V.N. Gaia e S.M. Feira. 

Through the several process phases of the Organic Digestion, water is consumed or generated, which requests the water treatment in order to keep the necessary water balances.   

For this study, Suldouro could count with Pelicano that took the necessary steps of the study.  

A field evaluation, water caracterisation and conceptual study was prepared.
